BELL’S HAS PRECIOUS LITTLE to say about this beer, and understandably so, as its thick head and floral, slightly lemony hop aroma promise more than its flavor delivers. Overall it is pleasant enough—some roasted grains, a little coffee, moderately effervescent, and medium dry, but lacking in complexity. Mouthfeel too thin. A little hop lingers on the palate, but seems separate from the primary taste. Belies its middling stats (1.055 OG, 5.6% ABV) with a tame product. Alas.
