Crispin Cider – Bare Naked

MORE APPROACHABLE THAN MOST ciders for its stripped-down recipe (eschewing added sugars or preservatives) and use of unfiltered, unpasteurized cider. Maybe too simple, though, as it ends up tasting too much like a sparkling juice cocktail mix without a transitional midsection: crisp green apple and a bit of cinnamon transitioning straight into tart and slightly alcoholic finish with a bit of pucker. Well-carbonated and initially refreshing, but still confused. Sensing a pattern here from MillerCoors.
